Dr. Ryan Jones, OMD | Oriental & Complementary Medicine

"Health outcomes are not determined by what you consume—but by what your body can absorb and utilize. Purity, potency, and effective delivery are everything."

I’m Dr. Ryan Jones, a Doctor of Oriental and Complementary Medicine with over 30 years of clinical and formulation experience. My work spans acupuncture, Ayurveda, advanced nutraceutical formulation, and R&D—all built on a single principle: the body is designed to heal when given the right support. Lauricidin® is one of the tools I rely on and recommend as part of that foundation.

A Journey Rooted in Eastern Medicine & Clinical Science

My path into natural medicine began as a child training in martial arts—an early spark that grew into a lifelong fascination with the body’s energetic systems and self-healing capacity. That curiosity led me to Sri Lanka from 1994 to 1998, where I earned my Ph.D. and Doctorate in Oriental and Complementary Medicine, studying acupuncture, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, homeopathics, and traditional herbal systems at their source.

Alongside Eastern philosophy, I trained in advanced therapeutic technologies including TENS, microcurrent, far-infrared, and cold laser applications—bridging ancient wisdom with modern clinical tools. My athletic background drew me further into sports nutrition, physical therapy, and the science of recovery, which naturally evolved into a deep focus on longevity, anti-aging, and the free radical theory of aging.

From Clinical Practice to Formulation Science

In the early 2000s, my research contributed to liposomal vitamin C therapies and oxidative detoxification approaches including ozone therapy, chlorine dioxide protocols, and chelation—work that cemented my core belief: it’s not just what you take, it’s how well your body can absorb and use it. I began formulating for dietary supplement companies and physician nutraceutical brands, blending herbal medicine with chelated minerals and advanced delivery systems.

Since 2008, I’ve served as a Formulation Director for cGMP contract manufacturers, leading R&D across liquid vitamins, emulsions, topical formulations, and cosmetics. I write as Dr. Wellness on the Lauricidin® Blog and author all clinical protocols for the Lauricidin Pro Network.
